Celebrating Our Military and First Responders

This year’s ceremony is dedicated to honoring the brave men and women of the military who have selflessly served our country, as well as the first responders who work tirelessly to protect and preserve the safety and well-being of our community. Their commitment, sacrifice, and courage have earned them a place of honor, and we are proud to recognize them with banners along the Perkiomen Avenue corridor.

Why This Event Matters

The Hometown Heroes Banner Hanging Program is a heartfelt initiative that allows families and friends to publicly honor their loved ones for their dedication and service. Each banner is a symbol of gratitude and a reminder of the heroes who have given so much to protect our freedoms and way of life. By attending this ceremony, you are not only showing support for these individuals but also strengthening the sense of unity and appreciation within our community.

What to Expect at the Ceremony

The event will take place at the Reiffton Bus Stop, located at the corner of Perkiomen Ave and 36th Street. During the ceremony, we will unveil the Hometown Heroes banners, each featuring the name and image of a hero recognized by their loved ones. Community leaders will offer words of thanks, and a moment of silence will be observed to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. This is an opportunity to come together, reflect on the bravery of our heroes, and celebrate their enduring legacy. Whether you have sponsored a banner or wish to show your support, your presence is welcomed and appreciated.

Thank You for Your Support

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has participated in the Hometown Heroes Banner Program. Your support helps us keep the spirit of service and sacrifice alive in our community. Let’s come together on October 6th to honor these heroes and show them the appreciation they truly deserve.

We look forward to seeing you there!
